Today my mother and Dieu Chan traveled to the school built by Insurance Profit Systems for a surprise visit with the children. This school is entering it's second year in operation. It holds a special place in my heart because the company I work for raised money from many of our colleagues and friends to build it.

The teacher here is amazing. The students respect her, she is warm and caring with them. One new student was very shy and didn't sit down when everyone else sat. An older student walked over and helped the student sit. It was cute.

About two hours away from is a school that we've sponsored for a number of years. We give scholarships away to the top students, and we hope that someday they will all attend a University.

On this day we gave away 12 scholarships to support each of the students for one year. We also learned that one student who was struggling last year is now attending a police academy. Everyone is very proud of him, and he's since encouraged his brother to attend the school. His brother was among those receiving a scholarship this year.
