"An Evening in Viet Nam"

“An Evening in Viet Nam – Music, Dance, Tradition”

The Vietnamese Science and Cultural Society of Oregon, together with the Village School Foundation present three special evenings to experience the culture of Viet Nam through music and dance performances, multimedia and food. The events feature nationally known guitarist and storyteller Tinh and the traditional dance and Vietnamese instrument Dan Tranh teams of the local Loc Hong Vietnamese Language School. The evenings will raise funds to support Village School Foundation’s efforts to build schools and provide educational resources to families in rural Viet Nam. Local volunteers will be traveling to Viet Nam later this year to teach at newly built schools and assist with continuing efforts to build new schools.
