Our ProgramsOur Mission
For children living in poverty, every day is filled with challenges, missed
opportunities, and broken dreams. The dividing line between rich and poor is
education. Many children, in poor countries, living in remote areas, have no
choices regarding education; there are no schools. The Village School Foundation
believes children should not be neglected and deserve to be educated. A child
who can read is a child who can learn. A child who has the opportunity to learn
is a child who can succeed in life. Education gives children a chance to a
better future.
About the Foundation
The Village School Foundation was formed in the fall of 2002. The Village
School Foundation creates educational opportunities for poor families in Viet
Nam by constructing new schools, providing tuition grants to underprivileged
children and so much more. The Village School Foundation is committed to helping
children realize their dreams and improve their quality of life.
By ensuring education for the youth of Viet Nam, we assist in eliminating the
cycle of hunger, illiteracy and homelessness – instead allowing children to have
a chance to provide better lives for themselves, their families, and their
communities.
Our Programs
Village School Foundation creates educational resources for children in rural
Vietnam. We build schools, provide scholarships and develop other resources that
offer an alternative to poverty.
